Resolutions within the Democratic Party begin at the Ward Level where individual members can submit their proposed Resolutions. At annual Ward Meetings (each spring) Ward members discuss, edit, re-write, sometimes merge and vote on Resolutions. Resolutions passed by the Ward are then submitted to the County Resolutions Committee. The County Resolutions Committee will also discuss, edit, re-write, sometimes merge and vote on Resolutions brought to them by the Wards. The process continues upwards to the State Platform and Resolutions Committee (SPARC) for adoption by the State Central Committee and possible inclusion in the Democratic Party of New Mexico Platform.
